Senior Pipeline TD OPEN

The Technical Director works with the Pipeline Supervisor, CG Supervisors, Department heads and Artists to assist in providing tools, workflows, and support to facilitate generation of digital content. You will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of the production pipeline including infrastructure and dev-ops. The ideal candidate will be equipped with an open mind and willingness to learn and try new things. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the entire life cycle of various types of issues including (but not limited to):

    • feature requests
    • bugs
    • troubleshooting/support/maintenance
    • documentation
    • testing
    • research & development
    • tracking
    • statistics
  • Collaborate with the other technical directors and stakeholders regularly

  • Identify, prioritize and execute the troubleshooting/debugging of various problems encountered in production

  • Provide support and maintenance for all the tools/services provided to production

  • Follow expected and documented coding standards and best practices

  • Provide and receive code reviews for/from other team members

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience, including 2 years as Technical Artist or any other relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Maya, and it’s python commands
  • Advanced knowledge Python
  • Advanced knowledge of version control systems and best practices
  • Experience collaborating with others in shared code repositories
  • Experience with project/production management software (FTrack, Shotgun)
  • Good personal relations and communication
  • Experience writing and testing cross platform code/tools
  • Able to adapt to change
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Organized
